My entry for the :iconvalenwind-luvers: 'Spring Showers' contest... I know...Its not great :P I could have tried harder.

Cid: Spring weather my ass...
Vincent: you have no idea how heavy my cloak is getting...

The idea behind it was simply - its a sunny day, so they decide to go out and get some groceries, cid neglects to take a coat or any waterproof clothing. As you all know, spring showers have a habit of coming out of nowhere. so the pair were completely unprepared for this :XD: I'm just worried about the effect of rain on a paper bag full of groceries...

Cid: what? ...AHHH, F*CK! my teabags!!!

the Rain effect took AGES to get to about averagely good, and it still doesnt look right :shakefist: I'm happy with the dull sky in the background though! ... and cids soggy cigarette!

but, at least this contest got me of my lazy butt and got me to post something! :w00t:

Ermm...I think the effect work I think, though my first impression was that thy where in a suna or steam room from the way that the image looked like it had billowing clouds in it ^^;

You did a great job with this... both characters really looks like they aren't having the best of times standing out in the rain. And Vincent holding onto the shopping bag like that is just priceless!
Very nice coloring as well! I really like the shades of blue and red that you chose; they really pop out at me!
This is going in my favs--I must find time to explore the rest of your gallery as well!
